Postgraduate Kencana Night 2024: Honouring Excellence in Education
20 November 2024 - The School of Educational Studies hosted the prestigious Postgraduate Kencana Night 2024, an evening dedicated to celebrating the outstanding achievements of postgraduate students. Held at the Banquet Hall, the event honoured graduands from the 62nd USM Convocation Ceremony, recognizing their hard work, dedication, and contributions to the field of education.
The evening commenced with a grand hooding ceremony, where the Dean and supervisors personally honoured each PhD and EdD graduand. This heartfelt session highlighted the invaluable guidance and support provided by the academic mentors throughout the students’ journeys.
Following the hooding ceremony, the night continued with the presentation of several distinguished awards, celebrating the exceptional efforts and talents of students across various categories:
- Best Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Thesis Award: Tiew Chia Hun & Mohd Azizi bin Mohd Noor
- Best Master Thesis Award: Mohd Saharizal bin Mohd Baharuddin
