Green Office @ PPIP

Universiti Sains Malaysia, through its Institutional Sustainability Division under the leadership of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Community Network) (TNC BJIM), has taken the lead in driving sustainability initiatives and has introduced the innovative green office concept. All departments are called upon to play a role in ensuring the success of this initiative, collectively working towards embedding sustainable practices and culture for the future.

In response, the School of Educational Studies is embracing and implementing the five core components of the green office, an effort to incorporate and pinpoint the best tactics for achieving the objective of sustainable development throughout the campus.

The five components and practices include:

A) Green procurement principle
B) Waste management
C) Energy efficiency
D) Health and safety
E) Staff and community involvement
