The School has distinctly demonstrated its capability as a major provider of quality teachers for the nation’s public schools since its inception in 1970, and this year 2020 marks the Golden Jubilee year for the School of Educational Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia. We have stood strong and versatile in moving along with the changes in teaching and learning, assessment, and research to inform teaching and learning. We have been blessed by effective leadership of previous Deans; that have exercise responsible stewardship to ensure excellence and growth of this school. Today, we have four major programmes for undergraduate studies, master programmes in many areas of studies, and doctoral degrees in education as well as research Ph.D. programmes of various specialties. Currently, our strong team of 62 lectures and 25 support staff members are serving 1411 undergraduate students and 807 postgraduate students from well over 24 countries worldwide. We practice an open-door policy, responsive and committed to serve and celebrate academic excellence through 4As – Adopt, Adapt, Alter and Add for the betterment of this School.
