Professor Dato' Dr. Abdul Rashid Mohamed is a consultant to the Malaysian Ministry of Education as well as the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Maldives and also advises the Sabah Foundation and Villa College of the Maldives. He is Chief Editor of the Asia Pacific Journal of Educators and Education and the Malaysian Education Deans' Council Journal. One of his major research activities is the InSPIRE Project on low performing Primary Schools in Sabah. Professor Dato' Dr. Abdul Rashid holds a PhD in TESOL from East Anglia University in the UK.

Professor Dr. Anna Christina Abdullah has been an academic staff member of the School of Educational Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia since 1993. Professor Dr. Hairul Nizam Ismail is currently the Dean of the School of Educational Studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia. He received his PhD (Educational Psychology/ Instructional System Technology) from Indiana University-Bloomington, Indiana, United States of America in 1999, with specialization in the area of learning and cognition. Since that year, Prof. Dr. Hairul has served as the faculty member at the School of Educational Studies, Universiti Sains Malaysia. For the past eleven years, Prof. Dr. Hairul has been teaching many university courses related to educational psychology, child psychology, cognitive psychology, guidance and counseling, multiple intelligences, gifted and talented, thinking and reasoning, and psychological testing. Furthermore, he has embarked on numerous research projects pertaining to topics concerning problem based learning, ICT and education, stress, pre-school, educational databases, ethnic interactions, and differences between male and female students. He has also written numerous journal and magazine articles, research monographs, as well as book chapters in similar topic areas.

Lay Wah LEE is currently a Professor at the School of Educational Studies, USM. Previous to this she was the Chairperson of the Special Education Program. She is the curriculum developer of both the B.Ed (Special Education) and the forthcoming M.Ed (Special Education) program. Her research is primarily focused on dyslexia, learning disabilities, special educational technology and visual impairment. She has published quite extensively in journal papers, book chapters and books. She has also produced a number of teaching and learning products including award-winning open-access web portals for special education, notably ePKhas ® and eKodBraille. Professor Dr. Lim Chap Sam is a Professor in mathematics education at USM. She has 8 years of teaching experience in secondary schools and one and half year in teacher training college before joining USM in 1993. She was awarded Asian Scholar (2004-5) and Fulbright Scholar (2008-9). She has published numerous research articles focusing on cross-cultural study, public images of mathematics, teaching mathematics in second language, values in mathematics education and Lesson Study viagra as a professional development programme for mathematics teachers, in both international and local journals. She initiated and promoted a number of Malaysian schools to set up Lesson Study groups since 2004. She is an active collaborator of several international research projects such as the APEC-Tsukuba-Khon Kaen Lesson Study project (since 2006 till present). Her latest publication was the first book on Lesson Study in Malaysia, entitled "Innovative use of GSP through Lesson Study collaboration" (2010).
